Requirements Engineer - Defence Shipbuilding

Tertiary qualification in marine, production or engineering discipline is required and ideally 7 to 10 years+ experience.

Our client is a leader in providing services to the maritime, military and resource sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Requirements Engineer to join their professional team which is based in Perth to work on a prestigious defence shipbuilding program of work.
  
This role may include site surveys to identify requirements, identifying current and future needs, conducting requirements analysis, and supporting the development requirements reports for shipbuilding projects. You may also be tasked with identifying requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  
The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Tertiary Qualifications at degree level in an Engineering discipline
• Previous experience in Defence / Maritime / Shipbuilding
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project
• Excellent problem-solving skills to define, investigate and draw effective conclusions
• Ability to prioritize work deadlines in an ever-changing setting
• Strong ability to develop technical documents, manuals and drawings
• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent project and time management skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Ideally an Australian Citizen with ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance or higher. Australian Permanent Residents will also be reviewed.
