Leading Hand / Site Supervisor - Demolition Projects up to $3m+

Work with an established and reputable civil contractor on demolition projects.

Our client is a growing civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Leading Hand / Site Supervisor to join their growing business.
  
You will be managing multiple projects concurrently across the Brisbane region. Working across residential, commercial, industrial and Insurance demolition projects, from strip-out, multi-story demo, structural modifications, temporary works etc. Typical values from smaller up to $3m +.
  
Candidate must have previous demolition experience and ideally will have a demolition licence.
  
Candidates can be a demolition leading hand looking to make a step up to a demolition supervisor or an out and out demolition supervisor.

Years of experience:
3 to 6 years +
  
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring OH&S procedures are followed
• Assisting in the programming of works
• Management of site project teams
• Preparation of reports
• Resolving site issues in a timely manner
• Liaising with key clients and stakeholders

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3 to 6+ years’ experience in the similar role
• Ideally hold a demolition licence
• Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
• Effective problem solving abilities
• Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
• High level of organisation and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
