Contracts Administrator - Bulk Earthworks / Civil

Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Contracts Administrator to join their growing business.
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.
Types of projects include build earthworks, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5m to $25m but can go up to $40m+.
This role is for a potential project which will be based on site about 1hr drive North of Brisbane and 1hr South of Sunshine Coast area.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing Head contracts and agreements
- Manage subcontract mechanisms
- Conduct status reporting, project reports, risk and program reporting
- Assist with Forecasting
- Manage the document control process
- Liaising with all stakeholders
- Support when needed with compliance with management system policies, plans, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
- 2 to 5+ years’ management experience ideally on civil construction projects.
- Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
- Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
- Effective problem solving abilities
- High level of organisation and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
