BMU Project Supervisor - Service Division

Lead, coordinate and deliver BMU repair and upgrade projects while ensuring top-tier customer service and compliance. 

Our client is a leading service provider in the BMU (Building Maintenance Units) industry, and they’re seeking a BMU Project Supervisor to join their dynamic team. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for assisting the BMU Manager in overseeing all BMU-related project works, with a focus on delivering high-quality service, team leadership, and compliance across all tasks.

In this role, you’ll coordinate, supervise, and certify BMU repairs and upgrades at client sites as outlined in service agreements, POs, and WOs. You’ll also manage all associated reporting and documentation using platforms like Simpro and Formitize.

You will lead a team of technicians and junior staff, ensuring adherence to company protocols, safety standards, and Australian regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing SWMS, completing project paperwork, conducting inductions, liaising with clients, and ensuring timely updates and high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience coordinating technical service or project-based work, ideally in the BMU or mechanical service industry
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, WorkSafe, and local authority requirements
• Excellent organisation, time management, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage your own and your team's performance effectively
• Strong working knowledge of Simpro, Formitize, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and a hands-on attitude
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence
